I think a little Fla game letdown is possible. Holtz will be ready even though he's undermanned and in a hostile spot here. 16.5 is a lot of points and worth a shot here I feel. I think SC can hang tough enough here and expose a Tennesee team that looks a little overrated. Tennesee should win at home but in a closer game than Vegas thinks. First play for this week SC + 16.5 6 units GL

I fully agree with ya here my friend. This will be the ESPN Prime Time game at 7:45 ET. All of the value here clearly lies with Holtz and the Gamecocks getting this large number. Don't have the stats in front of me, but the Vols have not been a good bet as home chalk in conference games dating back to last year. I'm not personally ready to jump on this Volunteer bandwagon just yet as I still feel this squad is just a tad overrated.

Agree with both offenses being kind of vanilla. Expecting a lot of running and punting and heavy defense resulting in a low scoring game while grabbing a lot of points in the process. Also looking at Ore St at home against another exposed overhyped team. After watching ASU against Iowa I realize their not a contender in the Pac Ten or anywhere else. Waiting to play this and see where the money goes first.
agreed on all counts..auburn,georgia and alabama on deck for the vols.... ...take a look at my maryland thread.....a classic case of a slow md start and a freidgen crush job on a very poor overmatched team....just like last year....slow start....furious finish.....and god help the soft touches in between......could be md 35-0 at the half....g.l.
